One of the Yes Network's most aired shows are their Yankee Classics.  Generally, during the regular season on off days and mornings before a game when there was none the day before, you can catch the Yankees Classics.  Then they fill up a lot of the schedule with them during the off-season.  As a Yankee fan, I think it's a great idea, although the ranking of some games as "Classics" can sometimes be questions.

Well, this is an attempt to log as many of the Yankee Classics that have been shown including some commentary and rankings on whether they really are classics or...not so much.

World Series vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Game Six : Yankees Win 27th World Series
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
Final Score: 7-3
Yankee Classic Rating (1 low to 10 high): 10
Hey...it's a World Series clincher and Hideki Matsui turns in a performance for the ages en route to a World Series MVP.  Who could ask for anything more?   I remember this game like it was yesterday.  The glow of the 4 out of 5 championships nine years earlier was starting to lose its luster after several dismal October performances, but once again the Yankees were on top, where they belonged, and all was right with the baseball world.  OK...a little dramatic, but it was long enough removed from 2000 to forget just how it felt to win a World Series and you know what?  It still felt really nice, didn't it?
