Traded: June 15, 1957: Ralph was traded by the New York Yankees with Woodie Held, Billy Martin and Bob Martyn to the Kansas City Athletics for Ryne Duren, Jim Pisoni, and Harry Simpson.

Acquired: May 26, 1959: Ralph wasacquired from the Kansas City Athletics with Hector Lopez in return for Tom Sturdivant, Johnny Kucks and Jerry Lumpe.

Highlights: August 6, 1956: Ralph's only victory of the season was a 4-3 victory over the Red Sox in Boston ending a six-game Yankee losing streak, the team's longest losing skid of the season.
