Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Marv Throneberry

Notes

  • Paul from Wading River pointed out that a scorecard from September 1955 listed Marv Throneberry as wearing #44.  Most sources incorrectly show Throneberry wore #41 (as did this site until the correction was brought to my attention), but that was worn all season by Bob Cerv.  This site also previously listed Dick Tettelbach as wearing #44, also reflecting every other source I've come across.  Dick's correct number in 1955 was #43.
