Memories

David L. from Stockton, CA wrote: "Frank Crosetti lived in Stockton, CA and his children went to St. Mary’s High School. After he retired he loved to hunt and fish. He helped coach my high school Baseball team in 1970 -1973. In 1972 while coaching The St. Mary’s Rams baseball team he would sit on the bench with his New York Yankee hat and watch us play. In a game we were getting beat 1-0 when the opposing pitcher was having great success 1 hit with 10 K’s. We got a runner on when I came up to bat. Before I came up to bat he said if I call you by your first name the pitch will be a curve ball. I got up to the plate he called me by my first name. I got a curve ball and hit a home run to win the game 2-1 and kept us in 1st place. We went 16-0 in league play."
