Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Aaron Guiel

Acquired: July 5, 2006: Aaron was acquired off waivers from Kansas City.

Highlights:
July 16, 2006:
In the third inning of a3-1 game against the White Sox at Yankee Stadium, the White Sox had runners at the corners: Scott Podsednik at third, Jim Thome at first, Paul Konerko at the plate and one out. Konerko lined an apparent base hit to right field, but Guiel charged, picked up the ball on a hop and gunned it to second to nip Thome who was for some reason taking his time getting to second base. Jermaine Dye then flew out, ending the inning and the Yankees went on to a 6-4victory and a sweep of the White Sox.

July 25, 2006: Aaron Smacks a three-run homer off Texas' lefty reliever Ron Mahay in the top of the fifth inning to give the Yankees a 6-2 lead. His clout proved to be the difference as the Yankees went on to win the game by a 7-4 score.
