Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Tony Pena

Notes: Tony was the 2006 First base coach and also worked closely with the catchers. 2006 was Tony's first year in pinstripes, having managed the Kansas City Royals the previous 3 1/2 years.  Tony was fired after 33 games into the 2005 season following an 8-25 start.  He was AL Manager of the Year in 2003 after leading a seriously flawed Kansas City team to an unimaginable 83-79 record and keeping them in the AL Central Division Race into September before they fell apart.
