Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Kevin Thompson

Highlights

June 3, 2006 - Picked up his first Major League hit against Chris Britton ofthe Baltimore Orioles in Camden Yards. The Yankees won the game 6-5 in 10 innings. His hit was an infield single. He hit a hard ground ball down the third base line that third baseman Melvin Mora corralled with a diving stop deep behind the bag. He couldn't recover fast enough and Thompson's speed helped him beat the rap at first.

April 10, 2007 - Pinch ran for Jason Giambi in the 8th and took over at the DH spot. In the top of the ninth, he batted with one out and the bases loaded and doubled into the left field corner, plating two runs in a 10-1 romp over the Minnesota Twins.
