Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Frank Leja

Notes
Jon from Jackson, TN wrote: "I recall that Frank Leja was a 1954 bonus baby under the rule that he had to stay with the big club and ride the pines for two full years. When the Yankees lost the pennant in 1954 to the Indians I thought it was carrying Leja on the team cost them the pennant because they could have used an additional pitcher. Leja got only one hit all season in five at bats. And the next year (1955) when he took up a roster spot, getting into only seven and going hitless in two at bats."
