Trivia

  • On August 6th, 1991, Alvaro threw 0.2 perfect innings in a relief mop-up role against the Chicago White Sox. Entering the 8th inning, the Yankees trailed 8-5. Relievers Wade Taylor and John Habyan combined to turn that into a 12-5 deficit. Enter Espinoza to face future Hall of Famer Tim Raines and Robin Ventura.
